I'm impressed I learned a new skill with this kit. At first I was overwhelmed by the instructions and video but if you stay committed to learning it you can learn to. I do have to mention they didn't have instructions on popcorn stitch I had to youtube that elsewhere.

I purchased this for my 8 year old granddaughter who is just learning to crochet. She was doing a doll blanket but there is not that much fun in that. So I got this, and another more advanced kit for her older sister. The instructions on this are clear enough an 8 year old can read/follow them. The item is made up of good quality materials and is so cute she could not wait to do it. This will help set those hand eye coordination skills for a new crocheter and hopefully lead them to a love of a craft that can serve them well throughout their life. Fun, bright colors, and specifically geared to a youngsters beginning skills. Would purchase again and again.
