The packaging is adorable and know they put thought into the box. For the accessories that came with it the yarn is very thin and at first had to get used to it when I started the project. I would say change out that yarn for a better useable one because it was a pain. The instructions were good and understood the process and I was able to finish the project with ease. This is beginner friendly and you should have no problem completing this project.

I’m a beginner in crochet. This is for beginners only the fact that everything you need comes with it. The thin yarn and tiny hook are just not for beginners. Beginners need thicker yarn and a bigger hook. It was hard for me to make these donuts because of the thin yarn and tiny hook. But I’m almost done making all of them now. They are so cute. If you’re a beginner and don’t know how to read a crochet pattern yet, be sure to scan the QR code. This will take you to all the youtube videos to make these cute donuts. I did this. I might order another kit to make for a friend of mine.

My daughter got this as a first time crochet kit thinking it would be fairly easy. The instructions weren’t that easy to understand at first. Thankfully, there are videos included with it which helped. However the saddest thing was that the eyes were way too small and it didn’t look right. I really loved the kit though, she just made the rest of them without the eyes

So the directions were good. I made all the doughnuts. I found the crochet hook was to small so i used one size bigger. The blunt needle was frustrating to get the yarn thru so i used a #16 blunt needle and i got thru the doughnuts much easier. For a beginner these 2 items could be frustrating. Overall i enjoyed the kit
